This installation continues my investigation into ideas of consciousness. It consisted of many elements, and was created as a site-specific piece to explore the possibilities of a small L-shaped room. The atmosphere of the environment formed by the piece was one of the most significant elements of this work, and one I'm findng slightly challenging to render here! So please bear with me while I experiment.
The memories that constitute an important element of the content of the installation were formed in Norway on a voyage north up the chain of the Lofoten Islands up into the Arctic Circle on the three-masted schooner Trinovante. Many thanks are owed to John Shores, Master of Trinovante, and First Mate Su Fawkes.
